Mint julep

Preparation

1. 01

   Place the mint leaves and the sugar syrup in the bottom of a julep cup or old fashioned glass.

   Muddle the mint very lightly to release its aroma without tearing it.

3. 03

   Fill with crushed ice, then pour in the whisky and the dashes of Angostura.

4. 04

   Stir for a long time, until the glass frosts over.

5. 05

   Add a little more crushed ice if needed and garnish with a mint sprig.
